"K" Line has been a Pioneer in Car Carrier Operations since 1970 with the vessel Toyota Maru No. 10 inducted into “K” Line fleet as Japan’s first specialized Pure Car Carrier (PCC).
"K" Line also pioneered in commencing Car Carrier Service to Mumbai in 1986 with Imports and from 1989 with Exports.
“K” Line – an ISO 9001 company – offers regular and safe and vehicle carrier services from both East and West Coasts of India with vessel calls at 2 - 3 ports in India.
Currently “K” Line operates regular PCC Service from Mundra on the West Coast (Mumbai calling is suspended, revival of the same is sub to inducement), and Ennore on the East Coast of India (Chennai & Kattupalli calling is sub to inducement). Our services on the above sailings cover Persian Gulf, Sri Lanka, Europe/Mediterranean, S. & W. Africa, Singapore, Australia, Myanmar, Far East, South East Asia, and Latin.
“K” Line has a Car Carrier Fleet of 68 PCC with the latest vessels capable of loading 7500 Cars and sailing speeds of upto 20 Knots. One of the 10 in this class of Car Carriers, “DRIVE GREEN HIGHWAY” is Solar Assisted with 900 Solar Panels producing 150KW.
“K" Line's fleet Vehicle Carriers are capable of transporting a wide variety of automobiles, Trucks, Buses, Large Earth Moving Equipment, and all other types of Heavy Vehicles & Equipment. The latest PCTC inducted into the fleet are also capable of transporting Rail Cars.
“K” Line has very stringent Damage Prevention Programs which is used extensively to provide Training to Stevedores at various ports and also for monitoring the Stevedoring Activity at all the ports where “K” Line vessels call. “K” Line follows a policy of “ZERO DAMAGE” in order to meet and exceed the expectations of our Customers.
